Mental Health Respite

The Respite Support Service will respond to the respite needs of the carer, but will also provide beneficial and rehabilitative support to care recipients during the provision of respite care. Respite care for the care recipient will therefore focus on social development and engagement, achievement of goals, enhancement of self-esteem and building of strengths. Meeting the needs of both the carer and care recipient are paramount in delivery of this service.
