Respite to Go - Employed Carers
About the service
Respite to Go – Employed Carers is a respite service which provides assistance to carers who are employed, have definite plans to return to work, who are studying for a return to the workforce or need a break to pursue social and recreational activities. The respite available aims to supplement the carer’s arrangements to allow them to continue working. The service operates within the North and West Country Region of South Australia.
The majority of the respite is provided through Activity Groups. These are located in Streaky Bay, Smoky Bay, Wudinna, Arno Bay, Tumby Bay, Port Neill, Port Lincoln and Port Augusta.
In addition to activity based respite the service offers some support in the carer’s home or at community based activities.
