 Gambling Help Services provides counseling assistance to gamblers,
partners and their families who are experiencing difficulties associated
with the impact of problem gambling. Counselling is provided free
of charge to clients of the service.
Gambling Help Services is an appointment based service and encourages people
to ring in advance to book a convenient interview time. Both day
time and evening appointments are available. with qualified counsellors
in the areas of both Financial and Therapeutic counseling.
Financial Counselling
We assist people to overcome debt problems through personal empowerment
and if appropriate direct negotiation, mediation or advocacy
on the client's behalf. Therapeutic Counselling
We assist people to overcome their gambling problem using specialized
person-centred counseling techniques. Location
Gambling Help Services currently operates from two locations
and services the Southern Metropolitan region of South Australia
that extends from the central business district to Victor Harbor.
