Pancake Day 2008!
February 5th, 2008
UnitingCare Wesley Adelaide held a Pancake Day Breakfast to raise funds to support services to the community.
We raised a total of $350. Thanks to everyone who stopped on their way to work to enjoy a yummy, hot pancake.
A big thanks also to our helpers who made the morning such a success!
Nativity Procession 2007!
December 8th, 2007
UnitingCare Wesley's annual Nativity Procession was held on Saturday the 8th of December.
The procession consisting of Brass Band, Mary on a donkey and Joseph, Angels, Shepherds and Wise Men on camels,
travelled from Torrens Parade Ground through the streets of Adelaide and concluded at the Bethlehem Stable in Rundle Mall for the narration of the Nativity Story.
Our sincere thanks to Adelaide City Councillors, Joseph Cullen, David Plumridge and Michael Henningsen, Enfield Brass Band, Dernancourt Uniting Church Sunday School,
Maughan and Chinese Uniting Church Choirs, Mr Gordon Hampel and Friends and Staff of UnitingCare Wesley Adelaide. A good time was had by all!!
