Applied Suicide Intervention Skills - ASIST

The LivingWorks 2-day Workshop

This interactive workshop has practical applications for anyone seeking to enhance their ability to help a person at risk of suicide. Participants learn to recognise and estimate suicide risk and master a model for suicide intervention. The emphasis is on suicide first aid – how to make an initial response and become a link to further community help.

This program in Australia is nationally coordinated by Lifeline. Lifeline acknowledges and appreciated the Commonwealth Government funding which has helped introduce and evaluate LivingWorks in Australia.
