Adelaide Lifeline is part of a large network
of Lifeline centres in Australia and many other countries throughout
the world. Adelaide
Lifeline commenced in August, 1963 and is a program
of UnitingCare Wesley Adelaide.
Lifeline provides a valuable source of information
for the planning of UnitingCare Wesley Adelaide's services
as it taps into the needs of the community.
Volunteers have always been the backbone of the service. Lifeline
would not exist without their committment and consistent
effort.
Lifeline seeks to provide counselling, information and referral
services for South Australians in need. Lifeline uses a non-directive
counselling approach, which enables people to explore solutions
for their own problems.
