Step/ Blended
We understand that many of our families will involve a coming-together of existing
families. There are some quite specific dynamics that such step/blended families will
experience, and so we’ve included some links that will provide you with some very useful
discussion of how to best make the transition into a blended family, and also some of
issues blended families may face. The information here isn’t specifically for same-sex
or transgender parents and their kids, however the dynamics and issues faced when two families
blend are not dependant on the sexuality of the parents. We hope it is of some use.
